It is that time of the week. I got your weekly recap right here: So yeah... Last week EA showed up 6 days total and logged some serious gaming. It was productive... Gamerscore went up 90 points so I am happy. Yay for 6 achievements! w00t! Oh, and from what I remember, EA's favorite game last week was Rock Band. He played it on 4 of the days. So that's it. Dang it. Besides Rockband deciding when IT wants to connect to XBOX Live or not, my guitar's up-strum is broken.  This is actually a known problem with that input device.

The good news is that EA (the company) is sending me a replacement and empty box in the mail.  I pay nothing.  The process was very easy.

3 days ago I hoped online to visit EA's support site.  In a few minutes they had already given me a UPS shipping number.  All I have to do is wait for the new guitar to come and place my old guitar in the box.  No cost to me.

What time is it? Time to tell you about yesterday when EA came to play. Gamer score stands at 14,201. That is an improvement of 15 points over last time! He rocked out to Heavy Weapon picking up 1 achievement, Bankshot Billiards 2 winning 1 achievement, Rock Band, as well as basked in the glow of my great blade navigation interface!

I saw EA walk by yesterday morning... I was hoping he would come play and he did. 14,186 points and climbing. He played Rock Band, Bankshot Billiards 2, and then it felt like he threw my controller and I was like, TAKE IT EASY SHEESH and we stopped.

My wife gave me the Special Edition of Rock Band for Christmas.  It's been a ton of fun for games and non-gamers.  I think this game will appeal to a diverse group of people.

Problems with the game:

There are people out there who think video games are violent. But after EA played yesterday with his gamerscore of 14,186 points, there wasn't any violence at all. A little drooling maybe but definitely no violence. That is an improvement of 55 points over last time! He made some progress on Geometry Wars Evolved, Rock Band gaining 2 achievements, Scene It?

EA needed a friend like me yesterday... I could see it in his eyes. I am there for you brother. Remember that. Gamer score is 14,131. That is a profit of 20 points over last time! He rallied Rock Band gaining 1 achievement, and then I basked in the warm glow of post gaming. Mmmm warm...

There is a time and a place for gaming... and yesterday was that day... I don't know what EA is waiting for, but life is short... we need to play harder!

EA didn't play any games yesterday... big loser...

Watch closely because here comes the recap... if you aren't paying attention, you might miss it: I have to say I hate weeks like this... EA played a single day... one... I feel like I am getting fat with all this sitting around. I was looking for gamerscore, but the total gain was zero. Another week finished... staring down the barrel of another one. 6 days without gaming is no cause for alarm... well... yes it is... I hope EA doesn't let me down tomorrow... I might get desperate and do something rash!

I just made my way through the Games for Windows version of Gears of War.  The Brumak battle was fun and I wished it was in the regular XBOX 360.  However, the new chapters added very little to the GoW storyline. 

I took over 200 screenshots while I was playing the game.  I uploaded them to my Flickr Pro account.  The shots are at 1680x1050 resolution at max settings in DirectX 10.  My video card is an XFX 8800 GTX 768MB.  I used my custom designed Alienware Aurora ALX to frag the Locust:

Are you ready for a recap? I know I am! Giddyup: EA played 3 days last week... pretty solid I guess... I'm not feeling that picky lately. Too bad gamerscore isn't money because with an increase of 1200 points we could make some bank. Yay for 16 achievements! w00t! In the 'new game' category, I only have one to talk about... Avatar: TLA: TBE. I wasn't even going to mention it, but I figured my readers might get mad. So there it is. Also, I think we can all agree that EA's favorite game last week was Gears of War (Windows). He played it on 2 of the days.

3 Processors, 512MB of RAM, custom graphics chip and multichannel surround sound all gone to waste yesterday as EA decided not to show up.

EA is making me proud and his opponents jealous... even if they are bots or mindless AI sometimes! Check out the 14,111 gamer score! That is a gain of 150 points over last time! Another day, another milestone. The 14,000 barrier has fallen! He rocked out to Gears of War (Windows) winning an amazing 8 achievements, and I think there was some random Live Marketplace browsing, but I wasn't paying attention.

I didn't think I would see him yesterday, but EA was back and ready for action. Total gamer score is 13,961 points. That is an improvement of 1,000 points over last time! That was enough to cross the 13,000 mark! Good stuff! He played Avatar: TLA: TBE winning 5 achievements to master the game, as well as stared off into space... thinking about the one that got away.
