I pre-ordered a Playstation 3 premium this morning.

Yesterday afternoon, news broke that EB Games and Gamestop would be taking pre-orders for Sony's Playstation 3 on a first-come-first serve basis. Knowing that stores opened at 10AM, I would have to get there early in the morning to be sure I'd get one...but how early?

I risked it. I didn't arrive at EB Games until 9AM. I arrived to find out I'M TOO LATE! There were already 7 people in line. Surely the stores wouldn't be getting more than 4 system, I thought, since there is such limited supply of these puppies.

My buddies FoulBreed and Hubcap (who were also out of luck) suggested that we head to a newer, lesser known store a few miles away. Within 10 minutes we were sitting #3, 4, and 5 in line at a Gamestop. This was good enough for me. I felt fortunate.

As it turned out a manager arrived and told us that they were getting 8 systems - 2 were going to be made available to the employees. Sure enough, I scored a Playstation 3 Premium pre-order.
