Some weird stuff happened today in Texas Hold 'Em for XBOX Live Arcade. I was delt a pair of 10 of clubs several times in a row. Read: I had two 10's of clubs in my pocket. Not only that, but twice I was delt only one card and it was...guess what...the 10 of clubs.

In all, it was a terrible gaming experience for me. I waited near 35 minutes to play the game and I never got to play. I joined up and had to wait 7 hands before I could play. At a full table with people making a lot of bets, this took 15-20 minutes before I was even allowed to play. With one hand left to go before I could play, someone quit out. This, for some reason, set me back. I now had to wait 3 more hands.

I waited and about 30 minutes had passed. And then, I was delt one card. Not two cards like everyone else. But I was delt one card - the 10 of clubs. I couldn't play this card or this hand. I couldn't bet. I was locked. I could "press A" to continue before the betting and after the hand.

Oh well. I scratched my head, ready to play my first hand and blam! I was delt two 10's of clubs. In the same case as the last hand, I couldn't play this hand. I could hit "A" to continue, but I couldn't play this hand.

As if that wasn't strange enough, after that hand I was delt two 10's of clubs again...and again...and again. Three more hands of two 10's of clubs in my pocket.

On the fourth hand, the deal was going around the table I was delt only one 10 of clubs. The problem was that I was only delt one card again - the 10 of clubs.

And to top this all off, as the other players were playing, a 10 of clubs came up on the flop. So, there was a 10 of clubs in my hand and a 10 of clubs on the table in the flop.

About 40 minutes passed and I had not played a hand and my backroll was still -$30k from losing on the River Card all night long. I wanted to win my money back. I quit out of that table, joined up to a new game, waited 7 hands and won $100K in 5 minutes.

Good enough for me.
